Shipware: an Autonomous Ship Platform

Developed the platform (Shipware) for the Autonoship project

The platform is based on ROS Noetic and Open Simulation Platform on Ubuntu 20.04. Functional Mock-up Units are built with MATLAB Simulink. 

Built sensor modules in Gazebo and built radar tracking system based on Extended Kalman Filter. 

Built testing scenarios with ENC marine chart data and GDAL library. 

Designed path planning algorithms based on the Genetic Algorithm and Fast Marching Method.

Designed test scenarios to cover different dilemmas in the collision avoidance of autonomous ships.
